I love Bird Photography! When I first got my camera the first bird I tried to photograph was the Rainbow lorikeet. I made the mistake of trying to capture them in flight which is near impossible as they can fly up to 50km/h. But I discovered when the pollen and nectar bloom they become gluttons and are quite easy to get up close to. Another of my favourite birds is the Wedge Tailed Eagle. I am fortunate to have one in a nearby wildlife park. But I have also seen and captured them in the wild! Below is a series of Slideshows for various birds I have captured over the years.
